Honoring Grief Community Circle

Welcome to the Honoring Grief Circle, a sacred space where we come together to honor and hold space for the journey of grief.

I facilitate this Grieving Circle alongside my dear friend, Tatiana Garcia, who offers Alternative Therapy as a guidance in grief after having supported her mother in her transition back to her spiritual home. To learn more about Tatiana and her work, check out her IG: revolutionary.mother

This Circle is a gathering of community to be supported by one another.

Grief is a natural and universal experience that we all encounter at some point in our lives. It is a profound and complex emotion that can be overwhelming and isolating.

We believe that grief is not something to be fixed or overcome, but rather something to be embraced and integrated into our lives. We understand that grief is a lifelong process, and we offer a safe and compassionate environment for individuals to explore their emotions, share their stories, and find comfort in the presence of others.

During our gatherings, we engage in various cultural practices and rituals that help us connect with our grief. These may include guided meditations, storytelling, journaling, art, movement, and other expressive modalities. Through these practices, we aim to cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and a deeper understanding of our own grief journey.

We encourage you to come as you are, without any expectations or pressure to share if you are not ready. This is a space for you to simply be, to listen, and to be heard.

Honoring Grief Circles are held the first Friday of the month in El Cajon, CA from 7-9 PM.

*** Our next Community Circle will be on Friday, October 4th, 2024.
