A Firefighter's love and legacy
Eric comes through with the strong, grounded energy of someone who knew his purpose from a very young age. He had always dreamed of being a firefighter, not just for the thrill, but because he was deeply fascinated by the mechanics of it all. He loved big trucks, the gears, the engines. There’s a tinkering spirit about him, hands on and eager to learn through doing. A parental figure gave him the space to explore that curiosity early on by teaching him how to work on cars. School wasn’t really his thing, but that never held him back. His wisdom lived in his hands and in his heart.
Memories
Eric shares a deep love for his family. He had a wife and a child, and after the birth of their baby, going to work became emotionally harder. He missed them immensely and carried a photo of his baby in his wallet every single day. He brings up a car accident and an injury connected to it. It feels sudden, possibly occurring on the way to work. His passing was unexpected, and he wants to acknowledge that he didn’t have the chance to say goodbye.
Spirit's Message to You
He says that those soft forehead kisses you still feel is him. It’s his way of wrapping you in a loving embrace from the spirit world. He wants his loved ones to know he’s still right there, showing up in the small, quiet moments. His message is clear and heartfelt: “Tell the people you love that you love them every day. You never know when it might be the last time. And don’t waste your life doing something that doesn’t light you up. Follow what excites you, what makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning. That’s where the soul lives.”
